Scott Bata began his military service experience in 2008, leaving behind what was a successful position at the Chamberlyne Country Club to begin a career in the United States Army. Currently in the process of transitioning back to the civilian workforce, Bata has obtained a significant level of experience, skill and expertise as a military service member, all of which promise to be a strong foundation for a successful and long-lasting career in corporate America.
Scott Bata entered Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Georgia in February of 2008, and entered Officer Candidate School shortly after Training completion. He was officially commissioned as a US Army Second Lieutenant in July of 2008, and completed the Army’s Officer Training program in February of 2009. Since becoming an officer, Bata has served in various positions at multiple locations, including as a Quartermaster Officer in the 260th Quartermaster Battalion, as an Executive Officer for the 110th Quartermaster Company, as the Assistant Operations Officer for the 260th Quartermaster Battalion, as a Logistics Liaison Officer in Baghdad, Iraq and more.
Scott Bata served in each position with honor and distinction, and was awarded three medals over the course of his career. The winner of the Army Achievement Medal in 2010, the Army Commendation Medal in 2011 and the Joint Service Commendation Medal in 2013, Bata has proven the ability to perform at a very high level in very demanding situations, and to be a valuable ally and leader whenever and wherever needed. He promises to show the same commitment and dedication to both work and service throughout what promises to be a successful career in the business community.
